As said it's too tight to call, so won't bother predicting an outcome, just hope that we put a performance in.

I will say that if we do go out it won't be a disaster, with plenty to play for still.

I'm another one who'll be pulling splinters out of my arse,really cant predict this with any confidence.

The cup is all they have left so expect them to give it a real go. As for us,I'd be happy to muddle through it and get it out of the way with a scrappy 1-0.

fraser - I know what you mean, think it will be close but down the years we have lost these type of games 1-0. Not too bothered about extra time though as I don't fancy us on Saturday anyway.

Southampton are probably in their best form in living memory ... believe they have only lost at home to Liverpool this season.
Saw the tail end of their Friday night game where Carragher & Neville were wanking over them and inviting James Ward-Ponce to do impressions.

Felt like they'd PEAKED & was all HUBRIS

I’m not confident.

This game is everything to them, lose it and it’s towels on the beach for their players. They will throw everything at it.

We, however, are fighting on 3 fronts so who knows what side we will put out? We could win, lose 2 key players to injuries and get drawn away to Man City.

Tough decision.

Huge huge game. Win this and I fancy us to make the semis if we get a home draw next.

Srrongest 11 for me and play secon string against Liverpool so they are rested for Sevilla.

I think Moyes will go strong, he is on record as saying he wants to give this a proper go. But I take feet's point, when you are in a comp with City, Liverpool and Chelsea it's fucking tough. Won't be a disaster if we go out.

It’s fair to say this is probably more important to Southampton in the grand scheme of things than us and it would surprise me if Southampton made the final.
I would prefer a youth and good second string effort on this one even though I’d live us to win the FA cup. The Europa league should be our goal.
